While most people add more clothers on when it gets cold, there some who actually undress to bathing suits and – that’s even more blood-chilling – dive into ice-cold water.
These bold spirits are the participants of the ice water swimming championship that took place in Minsk on 17-18 December.
With 0°C outside and the temperature of water just few degrees higher, men and women were covering distances of 25 to 450 metres.
As if they didn’t care!
The icy water challenge brought together people of different ages – from 20 to 50.
The most spectacular swims took place on the second day of the championship, when relay races were scheduled.
Man, we feel cold just by looking at them!
